Brunch, lunch or dinner! I’ve visited The Haven 3 times since coming for brunch in June and I’ve enjoyed every meal. It’s a quaint Scottish pub with a warm welcome and friendly vibe. Definitely make reservations as they get booked up, but we have walked in on weekday lunches and it’s fine. I’ve even brought a client here and he raved about the lunch and has brought people there too. I love the food! From the cheese boards, burgers, the amazing BLT...it’s all good. Something for everyone...salads, quiche at brunch, then the Scottish fare - scotch eggs, shepherds pie, fish and chips...I’m not a haggis person but have been told it’s good! And don’t skip dessert! Great beer, wine and whiskey list too. Street metered parking and very reasonably priced. They have live music and different events so check the schedule.

This place advertised authentic Scottish cuisine, and they did not disappoint. I'm obsessed with Scottish culture, and just to get a taste of their food was amazing. The restaurant itself is small, but it is incredibly cozy and warm. The atmosphere has an almost romantic feel to it, with the dim lighting and quiet music. It's a great date spot. My wife and I ordered Scottish beer for drinks: a Belhaven ale for me, and a lighter ale for her. I also ordered The Spaniard single malt scotch whiskey, and I was very impressed with the scotch whiskey menu. They had bottled water on the tables. We shared a Scotch deviled egg to start, which was perfect. My wife ordered the lamb shepherd's pie, which was also amazing, and I had the white pudding sassitch and mash, which was chicken sausage with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and sage gravy. We are definitely going back again, and will order all new choices! Please go, it is wonderful!
